JOB SUMMARY
To clean, maintain and prepare the extrusion tooling to the required standard for production.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- 1. Clean and inspect extrusion tooling (Components) according to VEKA Policy/Procedures
- 2. Disassemble extrusion tooling and insure proper assembly
- 3. Perform Maintenance on extrusion tooling as directed
- 4. Disassemble purged-in dies
- 5. Polish die, templates, and calibration as needed
- 6. Communicate wear and damage to immediate supervisor
- 7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- 8. Operate Reach truck as needed
SECONDARY DUTIES
- 1. Assist supervision and tooling maintenance personnel.
- 2. All other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Mechanical Aptitude, Oral Communication, and Accuracy. Safety and Quality oriented.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
GED, High School Education, Trade school preferred, or Previous Experience
