About this role
The Seattle Ridge Caretaker is to ensure the building is cleaned, stocked, and ready for the business day.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean the dining room for the next meal period, which includes deep cleaning duties assigned by the Chef or Manager.
- Sanitize any leftover dishes.
- Mop floors and sanitize all kitchen surfaces.
- Perform light cooking duties to ensure food par levels meet the needs for the following meal period.
- Respond promptly to guest needs and service requests.
- Maintain safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly.
- Independently follow policies and procedures and complete administrative tasks in a timely manner to support outlet and resort goals.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and address delays, or unexpected events.
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred but not required.
- Can regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts.
- Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, snow shoveling, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
