Die Corrector, [Shift]
Pay: $22.00 to $35.00 per hour
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:00pm with some overtime

About the job
We are hiring a Die Corrector for our Die Shop. As a Die Corrector, you will maintain, correct, and improve the extrusion dies that shape our aluminum parts, so every part meets customer specifications. Safety always comes first. We cross-train within the Die Shop, so you will keep growing.
What a Die Corrector does
- Analyze die and temperature data before making a correction
- Prepare and correct dies for the extrusion process
- Read blueprints and measure parts to confirm they meet specifications
- Work with press teams and die vendors to solve die problems
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read blueprints and die drawings
- Good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Self-starter who works well with minimal supervision
- Comfortable in a noisy, warm manufacturing setting, with team lifts for items over 40 lbs.
Preferred (not required)
- 1+ years of blueprint reading and die correction experience
- Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology or a related program
