Job Description
- 1. Communicates with Material Person craft and others to perform job tasks.
- 2. Inventories against purchase order to insure proper equipment and materials are received in satisfactory condition.
- 3. Stores, retrieves, loads and unloads all types of materials from storage bins, pallets and vehicles.
- 4. Works from ground or aerial devices.
- 5. Moves materials from warehouse and prepares for delivery to jobsite.
- 6. Pulls materials for jobsite requirements or material move request.
- 7. Stores equipment in designated areas and maintains appropriate records.
- 8. Keeps running log of all consumable items used and reorders as needed.
- 9. Retrieves and issues materials upon receipt of material request and maintains appropriate records of movements.
- 10. Maintains warehouse locations including main, remote, or tool room i.e. sweeping, painting, cleaning, etc. as required.
- 11. Adheres to all safety procedures.
- 12. Adhere to Bechtel Standard Work Processes and Procedures (SWPP’s).
- 13. Participate in STARTT Card discussions on a daily basis.
- 14. Typically requires 6 months of industrial construction experience.
