About this role
Overview
- We are seeking a dependable Dishwasher to help keep our kitchen clean, organized, and ready for service.
- This role supports the kitchen and service teams by maintaining clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and work areas in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Restaurant, hotel, or other food service experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.
Duties
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment and approved procedures.
- Clean and maintain dishwashing machines, sinks, floors, counters, and other kitchen areas.
- Sort and store clean items safely, and restock supplies as needed.
- Remove trash and recycling and help keep the kitchen free of clutter.
- Follow food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety practices.
- Assist with basic food preparation or other kitchen tasks when needed and trained to do so.
- Communicate with cooks, servers, and other team members to support smooth food service.
- Help maintain a welcoming, organized environment consistent with high standards of hospitality.
Requirements
- Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a busy kitchen.
- Attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and safe food handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks, including lifting and carrying kitchen items.
- Willingness to follow instructions and work cooperatively with a team.
- Restaurant experience, kitchen experience, food service experience, or hotel experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with cleaning, food preparation, cooking, or serving is helpful, but not required.
Pay: $15.34-$21.55 per hour
