Part-Time Bookkeeper

Are you an organized, detail-oriented bookkeeper looking for a flexible, year-round opportunity? Coyote Golf Club is looking for a dependable Part-Time Bookkeeper to help keep our financial operations running smoothly.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper who enjoys working independently, being part of a local team, and having a schedule that adjusts with the seasons.
The Position
This is a *year-round, part-time position* with hours that vary depending on the time of year.
- *Busy golf season:* Approximately 2?3 days per week.
- *Off-season/winter:* Minimal hours to maintain bookkeeping, reconcile accounts, process invoices, and keep financial records up to date.
The ideal candidate will appreciate the flexibility of a seasonal workload while providing consistent bookkeeping support throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial transactions.
- Assist with payroll and related bookkeeping duties.
- Support month-end reporting and financial reconciliations.
- Organize invoices, receipts, and accounting documentation.
- Work with management to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Familiarity with *Sage 50 (Simply Accounting)* preferred.
- *QuickBooks experience* would be an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in golf, hospitality, recreation, or other seasonal businesses would be an asset.
Experience with other accounting software is welcome, provided you are comfortable learning new systems.
