Job Overview
Analyze and evaluate complex systems in relation to human ? machine interactions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations.
Prepare detailed documentation, including drawings, BOMs, reports and specifications.
Design electrical control circuits and develop and implement safety PLC programs.
Troubleshoot and resolve engineering challenges in a timely manner.
Stay current with industry standards and advancements to enhance project outcomes.
Specific training, related to company field of expertise, will be provided to successful candidate.
Experience
Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in working with shop floor personnel, preferably in custom machine building environment (3+ years minimum).
Experience in Industrial electrical design, troubleshooting and analysis (2+ years preferred).
Knowledge and working experience in PLC programming.
Working knowledge and understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Proficiency in electrical CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to learn and understand Canadian and International Standards and Regulations.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Legible to apply for Ontario Professional Engineer License. (Existing P.Eng license is a plus)
Pay: $61,900.00-$138,000.00 per year
