We are a small public accounting firm based in Burnaby BC. We provide personalized services to small and medium- sized businesses across the Lower Mainland.
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced CPA manager to lead client audit, review and compilation engagements, review corporate, personal and trust tax returns, manage staff, and provide proactive advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
*·* Manage a diverse portfolio of small-to-medium business clients and oversee file reviews (audit, review, compilation, corporate/personal tax).
*·* Mentor, train and review the work of junior and intermediate accountants.
*·* Liase directly with partners, clients and government agencies (CRA).
Qualifications
- *CPA designation* in good standing in Canada.
- 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience in a small or mid-sized firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of Canadian corporate/personal tax accounting standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency with Caseware and Taxprep.
Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
