About this role
We are seeking reliable people to join our team. The ideal candidates should have atleast 1 year experience in freight transportation, long- haul and commercial driving. *WE WILL HAVE PRE-APPROVED LMIAs available by December.*
Duties
- Transport goods over short or long distances
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations.
