Italpasta is currently looking for a Packer to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering benefits.
Shift: Morning shift (7:00 AM ? 3:00 PM)
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday
Packer Job Responsibilities
- Loads cardboard boxes as well as the required consumables (cello paper, tape, sleeves etc.) onto the various automated packaging machines to ensure smooth production.
- Inspects and confirms label printers are in working order in regards to date, time and quality of print
- Loads required consumables on label printers (printer ribbons, label rolls)
- Keeps work environment clean and tidy throughout the shift.
- May be required to manually lift boxes off of waste high conveyors onto pallets from ground floor up to shoulder height.
- Records information such as weight, time and date packaged.
- Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of the production process.
Packer Job Requirements
- Need to have ideally 1 year of previous production/ Packaging experience
- Must be comfortable working in hot environment
