Job Summary
- Deliver pizza and other orders to customers safely, accurately, and on time.
- Provide friendly, professional *customer service* at pickup and delivery, and communicate clearly with customers and team members.
- Handle orders and supplies as needed, including *moving* items and occasional *heavy lifting*.
- Follow food-safety, traffic, and company procedures while representing the business professionally.
Responsibilities
- Confirm orders are complete and properly packaged before leaving for delivery.
- Plan efficient routes and deliver orders promptly while following road-safety laws.
- Verify delivery details, provide courteous service, and resolve routine customer questions or concerns.
- Communicate delivery updates and order issues to the restaurant team.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Assist with restaurant tasks between deliveries, such as organizing supplies, stocking, and maintaining a clean work area.
- Follow safe handling practices when lifting or moving food, equipment, and supplies.
Experience
- Strong *communication skills*, reliability, and a customer-focused approach are important.
- Previous delivery, restaurant, or *customer service* experience is helpful.
- *Commercial driving* experience is a plus; a valid driver?s license and a safe driving record are expected.
- *Warehouse experience* and familiarity with a *forklift* are nice to have, but are not required for typical delivery duties.
- Ability to navigate routes, remain organized during busy periods, and safely handle the physical demands of the role, including standing and occasional heavy lifting.
Pay: $17.60-$22.60 per hour
