Hamaru Sushi* is looking for a passionate, highly professional, and experienced *Server* to join our dynamic front-of-house team. - *Experience:* Minimum of *5 years of serving experience* in a fast-paced or fine-dining restaurant environment.
- *Availability:* *Must be available to work on weekends* (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) - _Non-negotiable_.
- *Language:* *Flawless, fluent English communication skills* are required to engage with guests and provide detailed menu explanations.
- *Certification:* *Must possess a valid Smart Serve certification* at the time of hiring.
- *Knowledge:* Strong, comprehensive knowledge of *Japanese cuisine, sushi, sake, and dining etiquette* is highly preferred.
- *Service Mindset:* Exceptional interpersonal skills, a warm personality, and a proactive "guest-first" hospitality mindset.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, friendly, and high-quality table service to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
- Guiding guests through our menu, including detailed explanations of Japanese ingredients, sushi varieties, and sake pairings.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, manage POS systems, and process payments.
- Anticipate guest needs, handle inquiries, and resolve any concerns with professionalism and grace.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining area in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and sushi-bar staff to ensure smooth, synchronized service.
