Overview
We are seeking a customer-focused *Sales Consultant* to help customers find the right products and enjoy a welcoming, informative shopping experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable with *retail sales*, enjoys learning about products and technology, and can balance attentive service with sales goals. Experience with *technology sales*, *technical sales*, or *product demonstrations* is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Explain product features and benefits, including technology-related details, in clear, accessible language.
- Conduct engaging *product demos* and answer customer questions.
- Support sales through thoughtful *upselling* and relevant recommendations without pressuring customers.
- Provide helpful *customer service* in person and by phone, using professional *phone etiquette*.
- Keep the sales area clean and organized, and complete assigned tasks within expected timeframes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate customer feedback or product concerns to the team.
Requirements
- Strong *communication skills* and a customer-first approach.
- Experience in *sales*, *retail sales*, customer service, or a related role preferred; *technology sales* or *technical sales experience* is an advantage.
- Confidence presenting products and explaining features; experience with *product demos* is helpful.
- Basic *math* skills for processing transactions and assisting customers.
- Good *time management* and *organizational skills*, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy retail environment.
- Professional phone manner and reliable *phone etiquette*.
- Proficiency in *English* required. *Bilingual* or *multilingual* abilities are a plus.
Pay: $39,100.00-$142,000.00 per year
