About this role
- The Buyer is responsible for the sourcing, procurement direct & indirect and contract management of goods and services required by the organization.
- The role ensures the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials while maintaining the required standards of quality, compliance, and supplier performance.
- Main duties of the position define the 10 key accountabilities of the position) Execute purchasing activities for goods and services in accordance with company policies and procurement procedures.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely order fulfilment to support operational requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and order status, resolving any supply or quality issues.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing information, contracts, and supplier data in procurement systems.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and continuity of supply.
- Support cost optimization initiatives through effective supplier management, negotiation, and demand planning.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
