Job Description Location

- We are currently recruiting for a General Assistant to join our team at Selfridges, Manchester . As a General Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience for our customers and supporting the day-to-day operation of the business.
Key responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for guests.
- Serving food and beverages in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assisting with food preparation and presentation as required.
- Supporting cash handling and operating tills accurately.
- Ensuring service areas, counters, and dining spaces are clean, safe, and well maintained.
- Following all food safety, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high standards of service.
- Supporting with stock replenishment and general housekeeping duties.

- Qualifications What We're Looking For A positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Previous hospitality, catering, retail, or customer service experience is desirable.
- Retail experience preferred.
- Basic IT skills required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- A flexible and reliable approach to work.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
