About this role
- Assist drill pipe inspection crew in all aspects of prepping pipe for inspection during the inspection process and post inspection
- Rolling pipe
- Buffing pipe OD's
- Cleaning and buffing threaded connections
- Operating Drill pipe Jacks
- Painting pipe with identification bands
- applying thread lubricant to passing connections and reapply thread protectors
- Assist in Refacing process
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant industry is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to undergo training and obtain necessary certifications.
- Basic knowledge of coating and inspection techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as needed.
