Tasks
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods.
- Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials.
- Estimate costs and materials.
- Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Insulator Trade Certification.
- Driver's License.
- Area of specialization: Spraying and blowing insulation.
- Fire stopping and fireproofing.
- Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
- Own transportation.
- Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
- Screening questions: Do you have experience working in this field?.
- Do you have the required certifications listed in the job posting?.
