Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Asset languages: Hindi. Urdu. Panjabi; Punjabi.
Work setting: Urban area. Willing to relocate.
Tasks
- Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.).
- Assign sales workers to duties.
- Establish work schedules.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers.
- Train or arrange for training.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Recommend personnel actions.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity . Supervision: 3-4 people.
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Outlook.
