Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Tasks
- Administer bedside and personal care.
- Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
- Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk.
- Launder clothing and household linens.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide companionship.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Support for newcomers and refugees: Does not require Canadian work experience.
- Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Indigenous people: Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers .
