Tasks
- Hire, supervise and schedule staff.
- Organize planting of trees, gardens and lawns.
- Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property.
- Plan and estimate labour and materials.
- Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
- Maintain work records and logs.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Prepare and submit progress and other reports.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers.
- Perform same duties as workers supervised.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
Support for youths: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
