Job Summary - Caretaker (With cleaning duties)
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Caretaker to join the team at The Acorn Centre, our Primary Behaviour Support Provision. This is an important role in helping us maintain a safe, clean, secure and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors.
The successful candidate will take pride in looking after our small building and grounds, carrying out a range of caretaking, cleaning, general maintenance and minor repair duties. Responsibilities will also include routine site inspections, supporting health and safety and fire safety checks, monitoring building facilities, maintaining outdoor areas and preparing rooms for activities and events.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, practical and takes pride in their work, with the ability to work independently, use their initiative and respond flexibly to the needs of the setting. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and security, alongside a positive and supportive approach to working with colleagues, is essential.
