Requirements
- Experience in networking or an ISP environment, gained through work, study, or qualifications
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, switching, and network protocols
- Experience with LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows
- Fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical colleagues
- Organised, detail-focused approach to managing several installations at once
- Desirable: experience in a Second Line, NOC, or similar ISP or MSP support role
- Desirable: a networking certification such as CCNA or equivalent
- Desirable: experience with RouterOS or MikroTik equipment
Responsibilities
- Prepare and configure LAN and wireless equipment for new and existing sites, following design documents
- Provision network equipment using Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP)
- Order equipment for projects within budget and timescale
- Write work packs and plans for installations
- Provide remote technical support to engineers on site
- Troubleshoot wireless access points, switches, Linux, and RouterOS systems
- Help third-party suppliers connect systems such as CCTV and door access
- Keep project stakeholders updated and write clear documentation to help our Support team assist customers
