Salary: £47,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2–5 years experience in IT systems engineering, IT administration or another production IT environment
- Strong technical knowledge of SAP and manufacturing systems
- Understanding of SQL concepts and experience with Power BI and Excel reporting tools
- Understanding of how business processes interact with IT systems
- Proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to solve complex challenges and build relationships across technical and operational teams
- Ability to work independently within a team while minimising operational disruption
Responsibilities
- Ensure the availability, performance and security of MES and production IT systems supporting site operations
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement and digitisation initiatives across manufacturing processes
- Contribute to system design, testing, training and implementation activities
- Manage MII user access, permissions and governance activities
- Collaborate with site stakeholders, SAP super users and our central experts to optimise manufacturing solutions
