Requirements
- Strong commercial C# development experience
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, performance tuning, and query optimization
- Proven experience investigating and resolving data-related issues, including discrepancies and performance problems
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
- Experience with complex, data-intensive applications and systems
- Ability to understand business processes, analyze technical issues, and work independently to resolve problems
- Comfortable working to demanding delivery timescales and high quality standards
- Desirable: Previous experience in banking or financial services
- Desirable: Knowledge of regulatory reporting processes, systems, or projects
- Desirable: Experience implementing, supporting, or maintaining third-party regulatory reporting software
- Desirable: Understanding of data quality and reporting requirements in regulated environments

We are recruiting an experienced C# Developer with strong SQL and data analysis skills for regulatory reporting work in a banking environment. The role is based in London and follows a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days remote. This is a six-month contract inside IR35, requiring an umbrella company. We are particularly interested in developers with substantial hands-on SQL experience who enjoy investigating data and system issues, rather than focusing solely on application development from predefined specifications.
