Salary: £45,000 - 60,000 per year
Requirements
- Commercial experience developing applications using Python and PHP.
- Strong SQL and database skills, ideally with SQL Server.
- Experience developing Windows-based business applications.
- A practical, problem-solving approach and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with inventory, replenishment, warehouse, or order management systems is desirable.
- Systems integration and Excel integration experience are desirable.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Windows IIS, SSIS, or Visual Basic is desirable.
- Familiarity with BigCommerce, Odoo, ERP, POS, or WMS platforms is desirable.
- Ideally, five or more years experience developing Windows-based applications and at least two years experience with Python and PHP. Experience with every system listed is not required; strong application development and integration skills are the priority.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications using Python and PHP.
- Work with SQL Server databases to consolidate, validate, and manage data.
- Integrate existing systems to improve stock management and replenishment processes.
- Design user-friendly interfaces for store managers and Head Office teams.
- Gather requirements from users, test applications, and resolve issues.
- Contribute to ecommerce, POS, and wider systems integration projects.
