Requirements
- Full Stack development experience, with the ability to deliver applications independently
- Working knowledge of PHP/Laravel; experience with other programming languages is advantageous
- Practical experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Confidence reviewing, debugging and testing AI-generated code
- Interest in progressing towards AI implementation and business strategy
- Ability to commute to Scunthorpe and work fully onsite
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve internal applications using AI tools to accelerate delivery, starting with a PHP/Laravel project
- Own development, testing and deployment based on supplied requirements
- Review and validate AI-generated code for security, correctness and maintainability
- Progress towards supporting wider AI implementation across the business and manufacturing environment

We are a long-established UK manufacturer undergoing a major modernisation programme. This role is based fully onsite in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, and is 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a salary of up to £65,000, progression towards an AI Implementation Lead position, medical benefits, an enhanced pension and 27 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
