Requirements
- Significant experience in an MSP or managed services environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Entra ID/Active Directory, networking and VPN technologies, endpoint management, and security and monitoring solutions.
- Experience with RMM and PSA platforms.
- PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
- Experience improving service delivery across multiple customer environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills.
- Desirable: Experience with endpoint security and MDR/EDR platforms, backup and disaster recovery technologies, firewalls and network security, vulnerability management and security compliance tools, or enterprise wireless networking.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and improvement of managed service standards, processes, and tooling.
- Design and maintain automation workflows using PowerShell, APIs, and platform-native automation tools.
- Act as a senior technical escalation point for complex infrastructure, endpoint, security, networking, and backup issues.
- Improve patch compliance, monitoring, security, onboarding, and backup resilience.
- Manage and optimise RMM platforms, monitoring policies, alerting thresholds, and reporting.
- Support service design, technical consultancy, and pre-sales activities as required.
- Work with internal teams to identify opportunities for operational improvement and automation.
