Requirements
- Proven track record delivering ServiceNow portal solutions in complex enterprise environments
- Strong experience as a ServiceNow Developer focused on portal development
- Hands-on experience with Service Portal and/or Employee Centre
- Strong JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow scripting skills
- Experience developing custom widgets and self-service solutions
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow ITSM and Service Catalog modules
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications and enterprise systems
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and responsive design
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Active DV clearance is highly desirable; candidates with active SC clearance who are willing and eligible to undergo DV clearance will also be considered
- Experience in government, defence, national security, or other highly regulated environments is desirable
- Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation programmes is desirable
- Familiarity with secure development and deployment practices is desirable
- Applicants should hold one or more of the following: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or ServiceNow Certified UI Builder Micro-Certification
- Additional ServiceNow certifications are highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow Portal and Employee Centre solutions
- Configure and customise widgets, pages, themes, and portal components
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Develop integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems
- Create responsive, accessible, and engaging self-service experiences
- Support Service Catalog, workflows, knowledge management, and employee self-service capabilities
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and release activities
- Troubleshoot issues and drive continuous platform improvement
- Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer across teams
- Ensure development aligns with ServiceNow best practices and coding standards
