Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year
Requirements
- Degree qualified in a STEM subject from a UK university
- At least 3 years experience in an engineering environment
- Electrical or power engineering experience would be ideal
- Good working knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Golang, LabVIEW, C++ or Python; TCP/IP networking or front-end web development would be an advantage
- Self-motivated, with a sense of responsibility and willingness to contribute towards a larger goal
- Able to commute to Cheltenham for a fully office-based role
- Must have the right to work in the UK; we are unable to offer visa sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop and deploy system controls code for BESS integration systems across electrical infrastructure
- Collaborate as part of a team on large engineering projects, from design through to operations
- Contribute to SCADA architecture, coding and commissioning to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Work closely with our internal IT team to support networking infrastructure
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to help ensure project success
