Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year
Requirements
- Experience as a technical leader with business, industry, and deep technical understanding to shape architectural direction and evolution
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn and adapt; expertise in every listed architecture area is not required
- Familiarity with cloud-native and public cloud architectures, particularly AWS; real-time and event-driven architectures; SaaS and enterprise platforms; and complex IT technology estates
- Passion for architectural simplification, quality, and pragmatism while balancing delivery speed and confidence
- Ability to lead initiatives with Product, Service Transition, Cyber Security, and Engineering
- Ability to define target architectures and product roadmaps, and establish guardrails for agile delivery teams
- Appreciation of the resilience, performance, cost-effectiveness, and security needs of data-driven, highly regulated environments such as financial services
- Ability to make technical trade-offs, align stakeholders, and communicate strategic decisions
- Interest in mentoring engineers and supporting career growth in solution design
- Ability to thrive in an inclusive, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment
