- Depending on level, you may have experience supporting, building, configuring, administering, designing or implementing infrastructure technologies and services.
- Familiarity with computing and server technologies, storage solutions, network infrastructure and physical infrastructure environments is relevant.
- Experience with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, open-source technologies and cloud-based platforms and services is relevant.
- Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) is relevant.
Responsibilities
- We design, implement, administer and support infrastructure technologies, systems and services.
- We maintain and support software applications that provide services to internal users and the public.
- We monitor system performance, identify issues and proactively troubleshoot technical problems.
- We take ownership of incidents and technical issues, ensuring effective resolution and service restoration.
- We implement and maintain information security controls to protect systems and data.
- We investigate system, process and service problems, recommending and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
- We support the delivery of high-quality digital services through a modern standards-based approach.
- We contribute to system design activities and infrastructure architecture.
- We build, test and support integrations between systems and applications.
- We plan, execute and report on testing activities, ensuring solutions meet operational and business requirements.
- We work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- We assist with prototype development and collaborate with developers to ensure secure, accessible and maintainable production solutions.
- We support continual service improvement and technology innovation across the organisation.
