Student Assistant in R&D - Software @ MagVenture

MagVenture’s core technology, TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), is rapidly gaining ground in the treatment and investigation of a range of challenging conditions, such as severe depression and OCD. Scientifically grounded and used at research centres worldwide, TMS has seen growing therapeutic use following FDA approval of new treatment methods. We are looking for students to help us test products under development. We create advanced systems in which software plays a central role, with closely integrated mechanical and electrical components.

About the role

• Testing software with a focus on writing automated- and operator-assisted test scripts in Python, C# and Blazor.
• Testing the complete product, including both mechanical and electrical components.
• Working closely with our software development team.
• We are looking for someone who Is in the final stages of a bachelor’s degree or pursuing a master’s in software engineering, computer science, electronics or a related technical field.
• Has experience with C# & .NET; familiarity with Blazor is an advantage.
• Has experience with Python; familiarity with C and/or electronics is an advantage.
• Is organized, detail-oriented and curious about how software, electronics and mechanics interact and enjoys hands-on testing.
• Can communicate clearly in English and collaborate with both developers and project managers Can work at least 12 hours a week.
