About this role
As a Bike Driver, you will:
Interact directly with customers, providing outstanding service to ensure customer retentionUse your own bicycle, lock, helmet, lights, and rack to make deliveries within a 1-mile radiusNavigate using maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery areaHandle deliveries in various conditions, including adverse terrain and multiple flights of stairsMaintain your bicycle and equipment to meet safety standards, including proper lighting and braking systemsAdhere to safety regulations, including wearing a Consumer Product Safety Commission ("CSPC") and/or American Society for Testing and Materials ("ASTM") certified helmetAccess your tips daily, either in cash or through your paycardNote: You must be 18 years of age and able to operate a bicycle safely. Ability to safely operate and maintain a bicycle within a 1-mile radius of the storeProvide own ANSI-certified helmet and necessary bicycling equipmentStrong communication skills for interacting with customers and co-workersBasic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accuratelyProficiency in using computer systems for order processingPhysical ability to perform delivery tasks in various weather conditionsWillingness to work in a fast-paced environment with temperature variationsAbility to lift and carry items up to 25 poundsMust be at least 18 years of age All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
