Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Generalist to support a variety of HR functions within our Akron facility. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys being involved in all aspects of the employee experience, from onboarding and employee relations to leave administration and workplace culture initiatives.As a key member of the team, you will help ensure HR processes operate efficiently while contributing to a positive and engaging work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, and other leave-of-absence processes, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.
- Support employee relations by assisting with employee inquiries, workplace concerns, and HR-related issues.
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Manage employee badging and facility access permissions.
- Oversee internal employee recognition and engagement programs.
- Process and track HR-related invoices and expenses.
- Serve as a liaison with facility and office vendors, coordinating services and resolving issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate employee records and support day-to-day HR administrative functions.
- Partner with leadership and employees to promote a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
Required
- Strong employee relations experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and administrative skills
Preferred
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Experience supporting employee engagement or recognition programs
- Experience working with vendors and facility-related processes

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
