Job Title: Cleanroom TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking Semiconductor Equipment Installation Technicians to join a large-scale semiconductor equipment installation project in Boise, Idaho. In this long-term contract opportunity, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced installation engineers from Taiwan. You will be involved in the installation, assembly, testing, and startup of specialized semiconductor manufacturing equipment within a leading semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical assembly and installation of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Support electrical wiring and cable routing activities.
• Assist with tubing, piping, and utility connections.
• Perform equipment setup and machine testing activities.
• Support troubleshooting efforts under the direction of engineers.
• Prepare tools, equipment, materials, and installation components.
• Follow detailed installation instructions and engineering procedures.
• Work safely within a semiconductor cleanroom environment after completing required training.
• Maintain high levels of quality, safety, and professionalism throughout the installation project.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembling, installing, or modifying industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Experience with electrical wiring and utility connections.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Equipment testing and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work under the direction of engineers and adhere to procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical training preferred.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to a long-term assignment.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and complete required customer training.
• Previous experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, industrial maintenance, field service, mechanical assembly, equipment installation, or construction.
• Experience working with electrical wiring, pneumatics, tubing, or process equipment.
• Mandarin/Chinese language skills are a plus.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
