Electrical Assembler @ Aerotek

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourSchedule Options:

• Day Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (4x10 Schedule)
• Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday, 12-hour shifts

About the Role

We are seeking dependable and mechanically inclined individuals to join our growing manufacturing team as an Assembler. In this role, you will perform mechanical and electrical assembly of manufactured products using hand and power tools while following blueprints, schematics, and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, have strong mechanical aptitude, and want to build a long-term career in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of products, equipment, and components.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Install hardware, wiring, and components according to engineering specifications.
• Complete final assembly processes while meeting production schedules and quality requirements.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards.
• Verify assembly tools and equipment are functional and properly maintained.
• Identify and communicate production, equipment, or assembly issues to the Assembly Lead.
• Assist with corrective actions to resolve assembly challenges and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support other manufacturing and production activities as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, or mechanical experience.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations, including fractions.
• Ability to follow written instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Electrical assembly, wiring, or cable assembly experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
