Job Title: Wastewater OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Wastewater Operator to join our team. This position operates on a day shift from Wednesday to Saturday, with specific hours being Wednesday from 1pm to 7:30pm, and Thursday through Saturday from 7am to 7:30pm. The role involves operating, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the wastewater treatment facility and its processes. The operator must ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and manage the underground sewer system.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment facility and its processes.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the facility's machinery and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal operating regulations.
- Manage technical aspects of plant operations.
- Oversee the underground sewer system.
Essential Skills
- Water treatment expertise.
- Wastewater treatment proficiency.
- Ability to conduct sample analysis.
- Experience with inspection equipment.
- Proven troubleshooting skills for machinery.
- Maintenance experience in sewage systems.
- Proficiency in Excel data entry and Outlook.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must possess a Class III Wastewater Treatment System Operator License.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
