We're seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join a growing team that designs and builds custom industrial systems used around the world. If you can read blueprints and P&IDs, lay out and fit pipe independently, and take pride in quality craftsmanship, this is an opportunity to work on challenging projects while earning substantial overtime. This is not a maintenance position. You'll be fabricating and installing complex piping systems, pumps, valves, and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment where your skills truly make an impact.
What You'll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and P&IDs.
- Lay out, measure, cut, thread, and fit industrial piping systems.
- Select proper pipe sizes, materials, and associated components.
- Prepare pipe assemblies and fit-ups for welding.
- Use pipe threading machines, saws, torches, pipe cutters, and fabrication tools.
- Install pumps, valves, structural components, and industrial equipment.
- Perform precision fit-up work to ensure quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot layout and installation challenges in the field and shop.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work independently while meeting production schedules and quality standards.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of pipefitting experience in industrial, manufacturing, or fabrication environments Ability to read and interpret blueprints and P&IDs without supervision Experience measuring, cutting, threading, and fitting pipe Knowledge of industrial pumps, valves, and mechanical equipment installation Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Combo Welder/Fitter experience
- Millwright experience
- Industrial construction experience
- Mechanical equipment installation experience
- Multi-craft experience involving fitting, piping, welding, and maintenance

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
