Overnight Machine Operator / Production Associate
Schedule
- Sunday night - Thursday night, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Overtime (when scheduled): 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Weekend overtime (when scheduled): Friday night, 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Load aluminum and steel coils onto production equipment using hoists, hooks, and established material handling procedures.
- Set up and operate production equipment, string presses where trained, and monitor product quality, feed length, labeling accuracy, and surface condition.
- Form, pack, seal, and palletize finished products while following production work orders and safety standards.
- Move, wrap, and transport finished pallets using forklifts and replenish workstations with materials as needed.
- Perform routine machine lubrication, dispose of scrap material properly, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Complete production documentation accurately, including timekeeping, work orders, and production data entry.
- Support additional production and operational needs as assigned by leadership to help meet manufacturing goals.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.20 - $19.20/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
