General Production Workers $19.00/hr in Beavertown, PAJob DescriptionWe are seeking diligent General Production Workers who will be responsible for inspecting wood for defects and marking them with a marker. Lumber stackers will be tasked with picking up wood from the production line and stacking it with similar wood. This role involves working in either the Lumber Stacking area, which is more physically demanding, or the Inspection area, where individuals will inspect wood after it comes off the machine for defects.
Responsibilities
- Inspect wood for defects and mark them accordingly.
- Pick up and stack wood from the production line with similar wood.
- Work in a physically demanding environment, especially in the Lumber Stacking area.
- Ensure quality control by inspecting wood after machine processing.
Essential Skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with production, warehouse, and labor work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in construction or labor work is beneficial.
- Prior experience in inspection roles within manufacturing is advantageous.

Employees are expected to wear a T-shirt, jeans, and steel toe boots. Personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and ear protection, will be provided. The work is conducted in a manufacturing setting with shifts available from Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays for the 1st shift and a unique schedule for the 3rd shift.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
