Job Title: Civil EngineerJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic consulting firm located in Herndon, VA, specializing in land development projects for both residential and commercial sectors. As a Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design and draft site plans, subdivision plans, plats, and related construction drawings. You will work in a collaborative environment to help achieve individual and client goals.
Responsibilities
- Design and draft site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Assist Project Managers and Upper Level Engineers in planning and designing hydraulic and stormwater collection systems.
- Create and run electronic hydraulic models for water and sewer systems, including static and extended period simulations.
- Design stormwater management systems, including drainage and erosion control measures.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2-3+ years of experience with land/site development design projects in the DMV area.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Experience in land and site development design projects.
- Ability to put together comprehensive site plans.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Herndon, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $105000.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
