Job summary
Life Works House is a residential treatment service in Old Woking, Surrey, providing support for adults. The service is located approximately two miles from Woking town centre and is accessible by public transport, with local bus stops a 25 minute walk away and Woking railway station approximately a 10-minute taxi journey from the site.
Main duties of the job
Working with our kitchen team, youll prepare and serve varied, nutritious meals for the people staying at Life Works House. Youll cater for individual dietary needs and preferences, maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness, and help manage stock and minimise waste. When covering the Head Chef, you may take responsibility for running the kitchen during your shift and directing catering colleagues.
Youll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, supporting with care requirements, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
