DescriptionThis role supports a design team in the operations space that is focused on the transportation of goods throughout a logistics network ensuring a high quality end-customer experience with. As a Usability Specialist on this team you will play a crucial role in enabling the transportation of goods by creating products for both internal and third-party customers. Your human-centered research process will incorporate a variety of methodologies field study in-depth interviewing surveys to drive understanding of our users and drive the creation of tools that match their needs.Key job responsibilitiesIn this role you will be responsible for the following:* Design and execute a variety of qualitative and quantitative research studies e.g. user interviews usability testing contextual inquiries surveys etc. to uncover user insights* Partner closely with design team to align on research goals inform key decisions and ensure a customer-centric approach* Communicate research findings and implications to internal studio in a clear and compelling way tailoring the message to the audience* Stay informed on industry trends and emerging research methods and implement innovative approaches as appropriate* Contribute to the strategic research programs and help evolve research practices to meet changing business and user needs* Build and manage relationships with internal designers and UX researchersQualifications* 3 years of experience conducting user research in a product-focused environment* Expertise in a range of user research methodologies and the ability to select the right methods for the research objectives* Demonstrated track record of translating research insights into impactful product and design decisions* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to uncover meaningful insights from complex data* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present research findings clearly and compellingly* Passion for staying up-to-date on the latest UX research trends and best practicesSkillsUser experience research, Project management, Project coordination, Scheduling coordinating, Administration, Ux research, dovetailTop Skills DetailsUser experience research,Project management,Project coordination,Scheduling coordinating,Administration,Ux researchAdditional Skills & QualificationsTools:- General AI tools (or open to learning)-usertesting.comNice to have experience with:- Dovetail- strong preference: experience with B2B environmentsExperience LevelEntry Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
