Role Description
We're looking for a short-form video editor to create 5–60s vertical videos for TikTok and Reels. You'll be responsible for making content that grabs attention instantly, keeps viewers watching, and drives performance. You'll handle fast edits, native captions, trend alignment, and quick iterations based on clear metrics. This is a remote role with async work and fast turnarounds.
Edit 5–60s vertical videos with tight pacing, native captions, smooth transitions, and effects that match current trends. Create hooks that make people stop scrolling and test different versions to boost retention and watch time. Stay updated on platform trends and algorithms while keeping the content aligned with our brand. Turn raw footage or UGC into polished videos, keeping assets organized and delivering quickly.
Qualifications
A portfolio showing your TikTok/Reels edits with strong hooks, captions, and retention-focused pacing. Skill with CapCut for vertical 9:16 editing. (Knowing Premiere Pro is a bonus.) Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines. Fast, reliable turnaround (24–48h on simple edits). Knowledge of the latest formats, trends, and best practices for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Requirements
Experience using A/B testing to improve watch time. Skills in advanced motion captions or meme-style overlays that fit the platform. Basic sound design and audio cleanup skills.
