Hours: 6.25 hours per week

Weeks per year: 38 weeks per year

Raunds Park Infant School is a happy, successful and busy Infant school where we are all passionate about raising expectations and aspirations. As a school, we pride ourselves on placing children at the centre of all we do, focusing on their academic and personal development and reaching their potential in both.

We are looking for a Lunchtime Supervisor to actively support pupils in the dining room, playground and throughout the school premises during the lunchtime period.

Key Tasks:

Provide a safe environment for children and take responsibility for supervising and assisting children in designated areas around the school

To make decisions to resolve problems and issues that may arise during the lunchtime period

To monitor children in the dining room in order to encourage children to eat healthy, balanced lunches and adopt good eating manners

Set up and clear away tables and benches/chairs in dining areas

Encourage the children to treat each other with respect and follow the school’s behaviour policies at all times

About You

You will need to:

Have experience of supervising children as a parent or carer or in a working role

Have knowledge and understanding of managing the behaviour of groups of children

Work as part of a group and individually

Encourage high standards of pupil behaviour at all times
