Premises Assistant - Twickenham & Hampton Hub Location: Twickenham & Hampton Hub (across three sites) Salary: NJC Scale 5 (Sp 12-17) £32,535 FTE pa

Contracted Hours: This role is offered on a full-time basis (36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year), with flexibility to work hours or term-time plus arrangements. Salary will be pro rata to reflect your agreed working pattern.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you will play a key part in ensuring our school environments are safe, clean, secure, and well-maintained.

Working closely with the Premises Manager and wider team, you will support the day-to-day running of site operations across multiple locations, helping to maintain high standards for our pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities Supporting the upkeep and maintenance of buildings, facilities, and grounds Carrying out basic repairs and reporting any defects or issues Assisting with health and safety checks, including fire and safety systems Helping to maintain clean, safe, and well-organised learning environments Supporting room set-ups for events, activities, and lettings Assisting with site security, including opening and closing buildings Working across multiple sites to ensure consistency and responsiveness Supporting contractors on-site and ensuring procedures are followed What we’re looking for We are looking for someone who:

Has experience in a practical role such as maintenance, caretaking, or facilities Has basic DIY and repair skills Understands the importance of health and safety Is reliable, flexible, and able to work across different sites Communicates well and works effectively as part of a team Has basic IT skills Experience working in a school environment and/or a full driving licence would be advantageous, but not essential.
