About this role
We’re looking for a hardworking and customer-focused Yard Team Member to support the day-to-day operations of our yard and store. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming environment for our members and customers, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the business.
Hours of Work: 30 Hours per week, working Monday - Friday. 09:45 - 16:15 Christmas Tree Temp. Working Monday to Friday 09:45 - 16:15 Starting date: 23rd November. End date: 16th December.
- As a Yard Team Member, you’ll play a key role in stock handling, customer service, and maintaining high standards across external areas.
- You’ll support the Stock Supervisor and wider team to ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for everyone who visits the store.
Key responsibilities include
- Delivering excellent customer service at the counter and across the yard
- Receiving, checking, and loading stock accurately and efficiently
- Supporting Point of Sale operations when required
- Maintaining external areas to a high standard of presentation
- Investigating stock discrepancies and supporting seasonal stock reviews
- Participating in stocktaking and maintaining stock file integrity
- Following health & safety procedures and UFAS regulations
