About this role
The Technical Production Manager role is responsible to support multiple clients by managing/maintaining the customer-facing technologies used in the field and establishing/supporting equipment maintenance procedures for flashing, software uploads, attaching retail mobile device securities, IMEI/Serial # scans and returned merchandise inspecting/testing.
Essential Functions
- FLASHING & RETURNED MERCHANDISE: Partner with Production Manager, Production Support Manager, Client Services Manager, Flashing Supervisor, Shipping & Receiving Manager, and Inventory Manager to maintain the technology required to inspect/test returned merchandise and flash various electronic mediums As directed, work together with flashing and returned merchandise departments to execute standardized flashing and returned merchandise processes Develop and deliver training materials to equip team members to effective use equipment and technologies Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Monitor the productivity, accuracy and capacity of equipment Suggest modifications to established procedures and improve quality to reduce cost.
- Report discrepancies and quarantine as necessary.
- Perform the quality audit function when necessary.
- Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area.
- Generate and maintain departmental reports as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
