About The Role
The Board of Directors of the Holy Cross Catholic Multi Academy Company and the Governors of Christ the King Catholic School are seeking to appoint a reliable and caring Playworker to join our After School Club team.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day organisation and operation of the club, helping to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for pupils at the end of the school day.
Duties will include supervising children, delivering creative and engaging play activities, preparing healthy snacks, and ensuring the safe collection and handover of pupils to parents or carers. The role also involves promoting positive behaviour, supporting children’s wellbeing, and maintaining a clean, safe and organised environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience of working with children in a school, childcare or similar setting Can communicate clearly and positively with pupils, parents and staff Is able to support safe, creative and inclusive play opportunities Understands the importance of safeguarding, health and safety, and child welfare Is flexible, reliable and able to work as part of a team Is willing to undertake relevant training, including first aid and safeguarding What We Offer
