About this role
- Responsible as a buyer for Child Parts and bought-out Parts, consisting of procurement of components including Mufflers, flanges, shells, Gaskets, Mixer, Cones, heat shields, hangers, exhaust pipe etc.
- Responsible for timely parts' availability per defined norms within stipulated lead time.
- Analyzing daily/weekly shortages and planning action accordingly Handling in-house raw material in the form of pipes and sheet Managed vendors and suppliers to meet cost, delivery performance, and schedule objectives.
- Supervising overall activities of inward receipt, QA issues, storage issues & record-keeping for all materials Worked with departments to find new and better items to fulfill diverse needs.
- Disposal of non-moving in-house raw materials to suppliers.
- Arrangement of freight forwarders efficiently and reporting freight cast to finance to ensure sustainability.
- Supervising overall activities of inward receipt, QA issues, storage issues & record-keeping for all materials
